Anti-cheat concerns for GTA 6 Online

RadioStar

GTA 5 Online on PC is a cesspool of modders/hackers. Godmode, money drops, crashing people. It's been terrible for years and Rockstar barely lifted a finger to fix it. GTA 6 absolutely has to launch with proper kernel-level anti-cheat like Vanguard or EAC from day one. Otherwise PC lobbies will be unplayable within a month of release.

This is literally my biggest concern. I stopped playing GTA 5 Online (PC) because every lobby had a modder. Kernel-level anti-cheat is a must. No half measures.

The issue is that kernel-level anti-cheat can break other programs and raises privacy concerns. Rockstar just needs to strike the right balance between security and intrusiveness.
