Boats and naval content — the forgotten GTA feature

Boats were almost pointless in GTA 5. You'd use one for a mission and then never touch them again. With the island chain and huge coastline GTA 6 will have, there can finally be expansive naval content. I want boat races, smuggling runs between islands, fishing, and submarine exploration. Heck, there could even be boat-vs-boat combat. The water in the trailer looks gorgeous for it.
