Character transfer from GTA 5 — don't mess it up

If Rockstar offers any kind of veteran rewards or character recognition from GTA 5 to GTA 6, they need to do it right. The GTA 5 character transfer from PS3 to PS4 was buggy and many people lost progress. Back up before transfer and maybe do a beta test of the transfer system. We've seen how this goes wrong.
