GTA 6 should let you customize your character's house interior

In GTA 5 Online, every apartment looked the same inside. For GTA 6, let us customize our living spaces — pick furniture, wall art, lighting, floor style. It doesn't need to be Sims-level, but a bit of personalization goes a long way. Rockstar added this to some extent with the Agency, so they know it works.
