Is the map actually bigger than GTA 5?

Everyone talks about how massive the map is gonna be, but has anyone actually done a proper analysis? The trailers show a lot of areas, but it could just be clever camera angles. Are there any good comparisons between the confirmed GTA 6 map and GTA 5's map? I'm looking for concrete proof, not just hype.
